Senior Compositors :
Software: Nuke Compositing Artists
Responsibilities:
– Proficient in using 2.5d approaches, projections and using 3D environment in nuke
– Thorough understanding of compositing multichannel lighting passes
– Seamlessly integrate the various layers or elements of live action shot
– Follow production process and develop creative approches and problem-solving
– Mentor and advise junior compositors and ensure best practices are being employed
– At least 4 years live action visual effects/ Feature Film experience
3D Generalists :
Software: 3ds Max & Maya / blender
Responsibilities:
– Ability to perform all tasks from modeling/texturing to rigging, animating, lighting & rendering
– Must be able to work to achieve desired level of aesthetic quality and technical accuracy
– At least 3 years live action visual effects/ Feature Film experience
– Production knowledge of the VRay and Arnold renderers
– Expert in using the Maya 3D software. Good to excellent skills in paint and sculpt softwares
– Strong sense of composition, light and color
– Experience of basic compositing a plus
FX Artists :
Software: Real Flow, 3ds Max/ Maya (After Effects experience a plus)
3D Particle effects / simulator – Fire, smoke, Water, Explosions, crowd
Modellor & texture Artists :
Software: 3ds Max & Maya / blender
Responsibilities:
– Ability to perform all tasks from modeling/texturing to rigging, animating, lighting & rendering
– Must be able to work to achieve desired level of aesthetic quality and technical accuracy
– At least 3 years live action visual effects/ Feature Film experience
VFX Coordinator :
Responsibilities
– Scheduling, prioritizing and tracking internal technical assignments and projects details
– Ensuring project scope, status and completion information up to date.
– Documenting decisions and requests, and ensuring items are tracked and managed appropriately.
– Monitoring and controlling progress, issues and preparing reports.
– Ensuring work is being approved and completed on time and to specification.
– Establishing quality control and project closure processes.
Minimum 2-5 years of experience within the VFX or film production industry.
Creative Director :
At least 7+ years VFX post-production experience.
CG Supervisor or possibly previous VFX Supervisor experience on 6 or 8 major films required.
They are primarily responsible for directing and supervising the creative and technical execution of visual effects sequences, from concept to completion.
Creative eye and aesthetic judgement – knowing composition, cinematic design and animation timing.
Needs to have an understanding of-
– Story development and storyboarding
– Directing
– Lighting
– Camera work
– Practical Effects
– Cinematography
– Art Department
– Production Design and Props.
Innate sense of composition, light, colour and excellent attention to detail.
On-set supervision experience.
Ability to work to and meet strict deadlines often under pressure.
