1. Senior Python Developer
4+ years of experience in Python.
Proficient with SQL and No-SQL databases.

3. Pipeline Technical Directors
The Pipeline TD is a technical resource in the Pipeline Department and is responsible for providing process and supporting project specific pipeline direction, as well as aiding in testing internal and external software and tools. The Pipeline TD also evaluates, consolidates and optimizes VFX and Stereo processes so they can be used efficiently in the Legend production pipeline. The Pipeline TD aides in establishing new workflows and contributes to the artist adoption and implementation by generating documentation and support materials.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Pipeline Technical Assistant Responsibilities:
Contributes to identifying needs and developing pipeline and workflow solutions for production requirements.
Communicating process or pipeline changes to other departments.
Researches, tests and provides feedback on beta and alpha versions of internal and external tools, as well as off the shelf and proprietary software.
Generate documentation for new department protocols and procedures.
Works with creative staff to improve or define new show specific processes and tools.
Ensure quality assurance and high level of detail across all tasks. Identify issues/inconsistencies and find a solution to the problem.
Collaborates with VFX, Depth and Comp Supervisors on show specific protocols related to VFX and Stereo.
Works with Development, reports bugs and requests features that aid in the efficiency of the pipeline.
Provides Nuke, Silhouette, Depth Software expertise to all departments including IO, Dev, IT, Comp, Depth, Training, and Production.
Support and work with multiple production departments throughout the VFX/Stereo conversion pipeline.
Troubleshoot creative and technical issues for our creative teams to keep production moving forward.
Provide front-line support to artists, and general troubleshooting of project files for the VFX/Stereo conversion pipeline in a fast paced, visual effects production environment.
Required Skills and Experience:
Strong organization, communication, and problem solving skills.
2+ years in a VFX/stereo production pipeline as a TD or equivalent technical artist experience.
Strong Python skills, bash/batch scripting knowledge is also preferable.
Strong understanding of VFX compositing: color space, bit depth, file-types.

4. Maya Generalist
DESCRIPTION
We are looking for experienced MAYA GENERALISTS to work on a feature film projects and episodes.
Responsibilities and duties:
Must be able to work under the guidance of a CG Supervisor or VFX Supervisor to achieve desired level of aesthetic quality and technical accuracy.
Keep awareness of schedule and deadlines to deliver work within expected timelines.
Must have the ability to problem solve and predict potential problems with assigned VFX Tasks.
Ability and willingness to learn new pipelines.
Ability to take direction positively, work well within a team and thrive under the pressure of tight deadlines.
Requirements:
4-6 years of working experience and an extraordinary demo reel. Strong skill set in animation, modeling, texturing, lighting, rigging and compositing.
Strong knowledge of Maya, Max and ZBrush.
Knowledge of V-Ray.
Knowledge of Nuke is a plus.

5. Lighting Artist
Job Description –
Should be able to independently light, render, and do moderate-level compositing of very complex shots, needing only initial direction and guidance from their supervisors.
Have a good understanding of basics of lighting and Image Based Lighting techniques.
Ensure that assigned shots fit the continuity of the sequence and able to create sequence-based lighting setups that can be completed by less experienced Lighting TDs.
Work directly with the VFX Supervisor and CG Supervisor to make sure that the desired quality is achieved.
Should be able to problem solve and foresee potential problems.
Work with the VFX Producer and Production Manager to efficiently bid a show based on the brief.
Work with the Pipeline team to develop a robust workflow.
Setup shaders for look development.
Requirements –
4-6 yrs of VFX lighting experience and a demoreel showcasing the highend VFX work for TV or Films.
Strong understanding of Lighting workflow in Maya.
Knowledge and previous experience working with Arnold is a plus.
Good understanding of a VFX pipeline.
Strong understanding of Shaders.
Previous experience of Look Development is a plus.
Moderate level of Nuke experience.
Strong sense of composition, color and physical lighting.
Excellent attention to details.

6. Assistant Manager Production
The Production Manager is responsible for the entire production process of the company. The Production Manager is responsible for completing each job on time, on budget and with a high level of quality. The Production Manager will represent the company for all production related items.
Production coordinators co-ordinate and expedite the flow of work within studio, prepare work and production schedules and monitor the progress of the projects they are assigned to
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 to 3 years’ experience in conversion or 5 years’ experience in production in VFX/Animation.
Good pipe line process knowledge in conversion.
Experience in leading teams as a production manager
Working technical knowledge for production activities.
Proven track record of delivering sequences as a manager or equivalent level
Excellent knowledge of VFX in order to make critical calls on crew distributions and especially as the show nears delivery

7. VFX Producer
DESCRIPTION
Candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the production, including initial bidding and breakdown, scheduling and resource planning.
In conjunction with with VFX Supervisor, the VFX Producer needs to deliver in a timely manor the completion of the visual effects work on budget and to the client’s expectation.
Partnered with the VFX Supervisor, the VFX Producer will work with and manage the client on a daily basis and ensure the highest standard of work is produced at all times.
Responsibilities and Duties
Work in conjunction with VFX Supervisor to breakdown ,bid, budget, schedule and manage projects.
Work with the Client on scope of work, changes, schedules and deadlines.
Manage Client expectations for deliverables and deadlines
Report overall project status as required to the Client
Work with accounting to ensure all invoices are sent according to contractual payment schedule
Work with the VFX Supervisor to ensure work is being done within the scope of the budget.
Work with finance to ensure overall tracking of costs for the project.
Monitor overall Bid vs Actual of the artists work vs department milestones / deadlines to make sure the project is on track.
Work with Resource Management to ensure staff are assigned and maintained throughout the duration of the project.
Work with Digital Producer(s) / Production Manager(s) / Coordinator(s) to disseminate job expectations and responsibilities for the project.
Create and manage delivery schedules for the project with the Production team.
Ensure all project deliverables are laid out and that shots are managed and delivered according to schedule with team meetings.
Manage expectations for the Project’s crew and keeping them motivated.
Keep the crew informed of project goals, milestones and deadlines.
Report overall project status during weekly facility production meetings.
Work with all facility departments to keep them updated on project requirements / needs within a reasonable timeframe.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience within the Visual Effects industry from a combination of Coordinating, Production Managing and Producing experience.
Minimum 5 years of Producing experience.
VFX Studio experience and in depth understanding of Visual
Effects process and pipeline (both animated and photoreal)
An understanding of production software (Maya, Houdini, Nuke) is a plus.
Highly motivated and works well with a team of artists, coordinators, VFX supervisors, etc.

8. Editorial Editor
Summary Statement:
The Editor at Legend collaborates with the Director of Post-Production to support the needs of our Creative/Production teams on stereo conversion and VFX projects. The Editor works closely with the Director of Post-Production to provide leadership and guidance to Assistant Editors so that tasks and assignments are completed accurately and on time. On a daily basis, he/she will be involved with shots in different stages of the pipeline, from pre-production to archival.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Support setting up shows: work with Director of Post-Production during early stages to meet requirements of show. This includes what information is needed for frame count verification, reviews, and deliverables to client.
Ensure the review stations are maintained and properly functioning at all times. This includes troubleshooting technical issues and reporting them to Systems and Director of Post-Production.
Report a given show’s Editorial issues to the Director of Post-Productionand help find creative solutions to problems.
Create the QC checklists for Editorial for the various client deliverables based off show specs.
QC shots for delivery. Includes checking format, resolution, colorspace, bit depth, etc. Must be meticulous in following QC protocol as this varies from show to show.
Prepare timelines for internal dailies.
Maintain up to date overcut of the latest 2D edit with stereo plates.Provide production staff accurate frame counts against client count sheets and offline reference material.
Support Conforming Editor during final conforms: being the point of communication for any questions regarding timelines such as opticals, frame counts, etc.
Use the Avid to search through dailies for clean plates, create reference Quicktimes for our timelines and generate EDLs.
Transcode media to Quicktimes or image sequences as needed by
Must have the knowledge and communication skills to answer questions on behalf of Director of Post-Production if they are not available.
Editor may privy to information that may not yet be studio wide knowledge and therefore must demonstrate leadership and discretion by not sharing said information.
Ability to delegate responsibilities to assistant editors as needed.

9. Editorial Assistant Editor
Summary Statement:
The Assistant Editor at Legend reports to the Editor and Director of Post-Production to support the needs of our Creative/Production teams on stereo conversion projects. On a daily basis, he/she will be responsible for ensuring that the correct frames are being worked on, and that shots submitted for review cover frame ranges and meet technical requirements of the show.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Weekly check to make sure that Review Stations are functioning
QC shots for delivery. Includes checking format, resolution, colorspace, bit depth, etc. Must be meticulous in following QC protocol as this varies from show to show.
Maintain up to date overcut of the latest 2D edit with plates.Provide production staff accurate frame counts against client count sheets and offline reference material.
Generate lineups as needed.
Update database with frame count and edit information as required.
Support Conforming Editor during final conforms: being the point of communication for any questions regarding timelines such as opticals, frame counts, etc.
Prepare timelines for internal dailies in RV.
Use the Avid to search through dailies for clean plates, create reference Quicktimes for our timelines and generate EDLs.
