3D Game Artist

Role summary

The game Artist will work closely with the Art Leads and will have an important role in demonstrating and maintaining the visual and technical aspects of next gen game assets from initial stage to completion of the texture ready in game model.

Key Responsibilities

    Artistic demonstration proficiency in Modeling and Texturing for Characters, Environments & Vehicles.
    Ability to work independently, multi-task, and deliver quality work in an efficient manner.

    Modeling:

Creating High poly and low poly in-game modeling.

Hard surface and organic modeling.

Sculpting abilities in creating surface details

    Texturing

Creating textures for 3D assets from the photo source ”realistic art style” or concept art hand painted “stylized art style”

Demonstrate creativity and adaptability towards different game art styles.

Skills and Qualifications Required

    1+ years of professional experience in working on next-gen games for the console.
    Candidate must have strong Modeling, Texturing, and Z-Brush skills to create assets with quality of AAA titles.
    Good understanding of Photoshop, Max (or Maya), Z-brush (or Mudbox) or equivalent.
    Knowledge of generating normal maps from high poly models.
    Solid understanding of experience in preparing and optimizing art for game.
    Ability to work independently, multi-task, and deliver quality work in an efficient manner.
    Excellent artistic skills with the ability to create 3D game art from detailed concept art, or photo references / materials.

Account Manager – Client Management

Role – Summary


Dhruva is looking for able and highly motivated Account Managers. He/she manages clients’ relationships; as well as developing new business from existing clients. Further, this role requires to be actively supporting the Business Development team in acquiring new clients and business line during pre-sales activities. The person is the primary point of contact for all the stakeholders at clients’ side as well as internal; ensuring successful and optimal delivery of solutions & services.

Key responsibilities

    Takes over complete responsibility of existing clients’ relationships; handling entire gamut of account management – client communication, RFP/RFQ/RFI, service delivery plan, accounts keeping, payables/receivables, etc.
    Convert Business leads into a long term Business relationships through proactively understand client’s needs and constraints, and provide optimal and effective solutions/services
    Partners with the Senior Management team and Business Development team in chalking out sales/marketing strategies; through market research, reports/information analysis, surveys, creating & managing marketing collaterals, etc.
    Work closely with Delivery heads and PMs to deliver the projects in time and within budgets
    Understand client’s requirements thoroughly and work with internal teams to create a service delivery model including project scoping, estimation, delivery plan, payment schedule, etc.
    Clearly understand and foresee business risks and derive risk management plans by way of (re)structuring the business/delivery models and solutions; including Change management
    Handle all clients’ issues and escalations maturely and manage through most effective resolutions
    Devise tools/formulae/processes for regular Business reviews with the clients as well as with internal stakeholders
    Building company’s brand by actively participating in all Marketing and brand building channels/exercises including corporate website, related business portals, subscriptions, events, seminars, etc.
    Timely reporting on all Business Accounts via weekly/monthly/quarterly reports; including presentation of new business prospects to the Management and other stakeholders
    Be involved in hiring, training and mentoring of team members

Skills and qualifications


    Ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of Account Management with proven experience in handling large International clients
    A graduation in Management/Marketing/Sales is a MUST. A Masters in related field is a big plus
    Experience in Gaming is a highly preferred
    Ability to work under stressful situations and deliver within the deadline
    A start-up experience and proven entrepreneurial skills is an advantage
    Exceptional communication skills and a great orator
    Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills
    Excellent organizational skills and fast thinker

Technical Artist

Role – Summary


The Technical Artist acts as a bridge between the artists and programmers working on a game. They ensure art assets can be easily integrated into a game without sacrificing either the overall artistic vision or exceeding the technical limits of the chosen platform. They must be able to show technical proficiency in DCC (Digital Content Creation) application ranging from creating in-game assets to deploying into various game engines.

Skills and Qualifications

Primary Responsibilities


    Create a superior art production pipeline,
    Think through and setup art production pipelines, both with internal or external teams, which have tangible positive impact on the project team’s ability to execute successfully.
    Identify & resolve bottlenecks with client defined pipelines
    Develop tools and implement techniques as needed
    Improve efficiency, ease of use or reduce costs
    Investigate new tools & techniques and implement them.
    Develop tools that would greatly help the art/project team achieve their goals.

Troubleshooting

    Leverage your deep understanding of DCC tools and techniques, art pipelines, graphics and related hardware technology to troubleshoot related issues as they arise.

Training & Development

    Create strong knowledge about the latest tools, techniques, 3D art pipeline & related developments

Essential knowledge

As the role of Technical Artist is a specialized one, candidates must be able to show technical proficiency in areas such as lighting and rendering, texturing, and graphics-related programming languages such as shaders.

They should also have extensive knowledge of art packages ranging from modeling to texturing and special effects, and be able to customize them so they are as streamlined as possible for specific projects.

Key Skills include:

    Ability to work with minimum supervision;
    The ability to work well as part of a team is also important, while training and mentoring responsibilities require good communication and people management skills.
    Excellent organizational skills
    ability to think creatively to resolve technical challenges and limitations;
    Technical knowledge related to DCC applications, Graphics technology, Art production techniques, art creation pipelines, Hardware
    Knowledge in 3D Maths
    Expert knowledge of 3D Studio Max and Max scripting.
    Proficient in Python and dotNet
    Experience working with real-time shaders (FX, HLSL)

Producer

Role – Summary


Dhruva is looking for a Producer. You would be responsible for managing and leading multiple projects or franchises simultaneously at different stages of development from concept to completion while acting as the product’s champion.

As an active member of Studio Management you would be driving the highest level of delivery capabilities, development processes, and delivery advancements. You would also be expected to actively participate in day-to-day Studio operations and client interactions.

Skills and Qualifications

    Serve as a technical and business resource to other producers, assisting them in the resolution of complex problems or leading them on larger projects.
    Support the strategic planning and budgeting processes for products, providing financial, technical, and creative input to management.
    Assist and drive identifying key in-house products to support the company business goals.
    Assist in improving development processes and best practices.
    Assist Producers in the direction of large, strategic products.
    Establish, maintain, and enhance relationships with internal and external stakeholders and resources.
    Establish development priorities and deadlines.
    Develop product budgets and schedules and maintain forecasts of the budget, anticipating, identifying and resolving overruns.
    Ensure adherence to schedules and budgets through enforcement of milestone approval or disapproval as per established contracts.
    Assist with recruiting and interviewing candidates for positions in product development.
    Manage and act to prevent potential conflicts between internal and external expectations for projects.
    Assist with coordinating game release process with internal groups.
    Potential day-to-day direct management and guidance of other publishing production staff including hiring, personnel reviews, etc.

ROTOSCOPY ARTISTS for (Job Code: R-01): 2+ years’ experience in feature film and VFX Rotoscopy. Silhouette knowledge will be preferable. Candidates will be subjected to the following tests: Rotoscopy Test (up to 8 hours) on Silhouette. Any candidate passing the test would have to face a technical interview and HR interview.

DEPTH GRADING ARTISTS for (Job Code: D-01): 1 to 4 years’ experience in feature film and VFX compositing. Freshers may also apply. Nuke and Fusion knowledge is a preferable. Candidates will be subjected to Technical Test, Technical Interview & HR Interview.

PAINT & FINALING ARTISTS (Job Code: P-01): 2+ years’ experience in feature film and VFX compositing. Artists with previous experience in Paint for conversion would be preferable. Nuke knowledge is a must. Candidates will be subjected to Technical Test, Technical Interview & HR Interview.

Tracking & Matchmoving Artist (Job Code: MM-01): 2+ years of experience in Matchmove using Syntheyes and Maya/Modo. Candidates should have worked on Major Hollywood/Bollywood VFX Projects.
